Children's Law CliniC

Abused children with attorneys exit the foster system up to 3.5 times faster than children who are not represented.

PRO PROGRESS, PRO BONO.
Every single day, Gen Justice helps abused children, free of charge, in their court cases – providing a lifeline for hundreds of children each year. We also offer free legal trainings on the dependency process and the rights of families involved in foster care.

If you believe a child is in imminent danger, please call the child abuse hotline at 888-767-2445.

BRITTANY REINER
Lead Attorney, Children's Law Clinic

Brittany Reiner can relate to the children she fights for. Brittany was born substance-exposed and spent a month in the NICU fighting for life. She spent seven years in foster care before she was adopted by the family who had cared for her since birth.

Brittany is a graduate of the University of Arizona, attended Hofstra University School of Law as a recipient of a Child Advocacy Fellowship and was selected as her class’s graduation speaker. Before joining Gen Justice, Brittany represented the Department of Child Safety for six years. She also advocated for psychiatric patients in the Office of the Public Advocate. Brittany knows the foster care system inside out, and children in need could have no stronger advocate.
